Peggy Sadler

Peggy Sadler Memorial Scholarship Fund

Peggy Jane Young Sadler was born in Alabama in 1937 to Leychester and Elenor (Clotfelter) Young and her family and upbringing are captured in the true stories of her book, which she finished writing shortly before she passes away in December 2020.
She was a woman small in stature, yet incredibly strong, confident, and committed to her faith, family and conservative ideas. She led an active life and put her whole heart into everything she did. Peggy was an outstanding homemaker and worked as a church administrative assistant for 27 years.
She served on the committee for cityhood and for Simi Valley, California, which incorporated in 1969, and she kept involved in local community
endeavors throughout her life. She was a founding member and past president of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center Foundation. She served as
a docent at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library from the time it opened in 1991 until her passing.
Peggy’s enthusiasm for America showed through her active leadership roles in Republican Women at the City, County, and State levels of that
organization. She proudly served as a delegate and alternate delegate at four GOP National Conventions. Peggy loved our Country and believed
that citizen involvement is vital to making our great Nation a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
