Simi Valley/Moorpark Republican Women Membership Luncheon

Judge Snyder was elected on March 5, 2024, to fill the seat of the Honorable Henry J. Walsh, who retired on January 5, 2025. Judge Julia A. Snyder was a commissioner for the Ventura County Superior Court in California. She was appointed to the bench on January 7, 2019, filling a vacancy created by the elevation of the Honorable Derek D. Malan to a judgeship. Prior to her appointment, Judge Snyder was a deputy district attorney for the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, a position to which she was named in 1999. During her tenure there, she conducted trials involving general felonies, general misdemeanors, juvenile, fish and game, auto insurance fraud, DUI/vehicular homicides, narcotics, gangs, elder/dependent adult abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault matters.
